“Death ends a life, not a relationship.”
Tuesdays with Morrie
This is my Day 2 quote for the Three Day Quote Challenge for which amanpan nominated me (http://amanpan.com/2016/01/25/day-2-three-day-quote-challenge/).
I’m grateful to be included in this challenge and thank you, amanpan.
This quote is uplifting, giving permission to honor, retain, and think about a relationship that we had with someone who has died. Death does not cut the thread that ties people together. It doesn’t eliminate the time spent together. It doesn’t diminish the feelings that developed between two souls.
That relationship lives on in us, surfacing as we move through the minutes of each day. It recycles through us, striking the chords of unity that held us together.
That relationship is alive. It helps us breathe. It keeps us company. It comforts us. It warms us. It reminds us of what was, and what still is. It is us.
Oh yes, Death, you may keep us apart, but you can’t separate us.
Every challenge has at least one rule –
The Rules are:
- Post three consecutive days.
- You can pick one or three quotes per day.
- Challenge three different bloggers per day
