my husband brought home a basket of dahlia bulbs once, and planted them all. They were gorgeous…almost every bulb different than the others. But dahlias are very labor-intensive, need to be dug up and replanted every year etc. I like plants that just sort of do their own thing and only need human help occasionally. That plant reminded me of them…vaguely. Beautiful flowers! 🙂
