I found some great doors this week at the antique fair held twice a year from Warrenton to Round Top, Texas. Not certain if these doors are old or just look worn, but they caught my attention. See what you think. And for more door pictures, visit Norm’s Thursday Doors blog: https://miscellaneousmusingsofamiddleagedmind.wordpress.com/2017/03/23/thursday-doors-march-23-2017/
Don’t you wonder what sort of dwelling this door graced?
Another intriguing door without door handles.
The detail carvings are lovely.

Doors are not made like that anymore. Love them.

Hi Eugenia, I thought they were interesting. A house would need to be large, or at least the doorways in order to accommodate just about any of these doors. But they are striking. Thanks for your comment.

Yes, it would have to be a big house.

Just gorgeous. Did you take a peak at the asking prices on these? I expect they’d be rather pricey…

I didn’t but I’ll probably go out again and will check on them.

It really is unusual. I was so surprised when I saw it as a picture. In the sun I didn’t notice the intense colors, but on the computer the various hues popped out.

I wonder if the people who buy these use them as doors or are the reprised into a really huge glass top table. That 2nd one is amazing.
