  1. Interesting … we call them sinks in England too! I would be positively a latterday Howard Hughes with that one, obsessively washing my hands hundreds of times a day!

      1. Thé équivalant here interestingly is North African which, of course has Spanish filters due to the Moorish domination of the SW in medieval times. I do love it. But I am with you that it should fit. Should be part of the real fabric of the place. Much like the obsession with douche italienne (Italian showers) here .. in my corner I get it … we are almost in Italy but if you go to Paris, not so much … be authentic 😉
