This is a Sunday afternoon along a street in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with people taking advantage of the shade from this lovely tree to stop, visit, and enjoy a sunny spring day.

It must be very satisfying for the tree to know that it is so appreciated! I bet lots of people stroke the trunk too.

It is delightful to see people sit, commune, and enjoy being outside in the shade of a lovely tree in the middle of the day. And indeed, they probably do engage with the tree offering their appreciation.
