I soared high, not knowing if I would fall or find freedom.
Up, up.
Do I long for what was,
or grasp the next rail on my skyward struggle?
The past? The future?
Or view life at eye level, releasing the need to recall or anticipate?
Just be, In this moment, On this day, In this world, knowing I will bounce and bob in life’s currents, until lost from sight.

Your reflections and photographs are poignant and beautiful. I particularly love the photo of the angel missing its wing climbing the ladder. Perhaps we are all one-winged angels and our challenge is to find ways to still reach our own greatest heights. Thank you for this post.
