Sunday Stills prompt this week is ‘high flight’, and by searching through my archives I discovered several ‘flight’ photos. Whether flights of stairs, flights of birds, or flights of air-borne vehicles, here are my contributions to this week’s challenge.
See more high flights at https://secondwindleisure.com/2019/02/24/sunday-stills-high-flight/
Who would climb these stairs (Picture 1) remains a mystery, but they are available to any adventurous soul who ventures to Robbers Cave State Park in southeastern Oklahoma.
The second picture shows steps found along the Italian coast on the Mediterranean Sea.
Number 3 photo was taken in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and the stairs share space with a tailor shop (Sastreria).
And then we take to the sky with a shot of an Egret just before taking off to soar above the SMA aurora.
You did find some great “flights” in your archives – and I am not sure I would venture into the stairs in the first photo – 😉

Thank you. I’m not certain why the stairs were included in the original design. Seems strange .

I guess those stairs give the water fall more interest! Great interpretations of flight, Margo!
