Baby Gets Bigger

The duckling…or is it a goose–I featured last week is growing up and becoming braver. S/he is also changing color, from a bright yellow to a brownish-yellow. Here’s a couple of shots I took of the little one venturing feet away from parents, and one of the family.

Spring, duckling, brave, color changes

  2. The DISH guy is coming this morning, so I’ll be waiting on him while Don drives into Montrose for the doctor to check his eye again. He feels comfortable driving now.

This afternoon we talk to the lawyer in Grand Junction who will help us draft the Covenants. Moving along.

I went to a gallery showing of local artists yesterday, across from Kate’s. It was good to see more friends.

I’ve driving into Montrose every day since I got back, trips to Target and CitiMarket. I’m spending some time every day at 645, which helps me see anything that’s not working right, needs repair, whatever.

Weather’s a bit chilly, but I’m glad to get a taste of winter. Our landscaper was over yesterday to wrap a couple of small aspen that the deer have developed a taste for. Nothing else to do for the plants for another month.
