“How about we treat every young man who wants to buy a gun like every young woman who wants to get an abortion – mandatory 48 hour waiting period, parental permission, a note from his doctor proving he understands what he’s about to do, a video he has to watch about the effects of gun violence…..Let’s close down all but one gun shop in every state and make him travel hundreds of miles, take time off from work and stay overnight in a strange town to get a gun. Make him walk through a gauntlet of people holding photos of loved ones who were shot to death, people who call him murderer and beg him not to buy a gun.”
We wouldn’t think of doing this to a man, yet, it is perfectly all right to harass, deny, and restrict women’s rights.

Excellent. Apparently it is incorrectly attributed to Gloria Steinem who praised the Facebook post that she had read. Whoever wrote it, it is worthy of splashing across the world. What good common sense!

No, it is now attributed to her, although incorrectly apparently. I don’t think anyone is sure of the true origin.

Whether written by Gloria or someone else, these are words that warm the cockles of my heart. Men have long held an elevated status in life and have ruled women’s lives for far too long.

One of my favorite passage is 2 Timothy 3:1 it reminds us…”In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.”
So Yes, what we see is evidence that we are living at the end of the present system of things. Conditions, along with people’s attitudes, are on a downhill slide.
In verse 13 it also let us know “Wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse.”—2 Timothy 3:13.
