This week’s prompt for Brew n Spew Cafe is graffiti and I can’t say for certain that these examples fit the definition:
(Word prompt – graffiti – (noun) – usually unauthorized writing or drawing on a public surface.)
because the artist may have been granted permission to draw. But they are all on public surfaces so perhaps they mostly qualify.
I don’t know the names of the artists, some are not signed, some the signatures have been worn or washed away, so I can’t give credit where it belongs. But I can exclaim that whether I personally like the illustrations and paintings, I am thrilled when I see this graffiti on fences, buildings, houses, behind doors, or even on the streets. Amazingly creative.
