Thursday Tree Love

Several. years ago, I drove over Monarch Pass in southern Colorado on my way to my sister and brother-in-law’s home. At the time I was living in south central Texas where we didn’t see much snow, so I couldn’t resist taking some snowy tree pictures as I drove through ice and snow.

It seems appropriate to participate in this week’s Happiness and Food blog challenge Thursday Tree Love since a large part of the United States is experiencing high winds, cold weather, and storms.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’m thankful for each of you who choose to follow my blog.

  1. Today I am not thanking Mother Nature because she saw fit to drop snow and blow hard to create huge winds so my daughter and her future husband couldn’t get here. They were to be married here this weekend, so I spent yesterday uninviting people and determining what of the boxes of finger foods we had ordered could be saved for a party when the weather is decent. I am, however, very grateful my son got here before the storm and we can cook our dinner together.
    Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.

  2. Lovely pictures, Margo. In India and the state where I live I don’t get to see such snow so I would say how lucky of you 🙂 Thank you for joining and I hope to see you back tomorrow.
