If you’ve never been to a Radish Festival, and I had not, then you would be amazed at the creativity the folks in Oaxaca, Mexico show during their annual festival featuring this unheralded root.
Some displays are funny, some of historical nature, but all are worth the visit and the long lines to see them all. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did seeing them.
A bucket full of characters that will be put in a display

I don’t recognize this gentleman, do you?
Don’t ask me what it is, but it is made with radishes
Radish sisters?
It appears this guy had a bit too much radish last night!

Children learning radish art

We’re moving our stuff from the rental this morning, should arrive in Tucson just after the 1st. We’re worshipping at the feet of a man from Grand Junction who managed to make this happen. We should be in warm weather again in a week!
