While in China some years ago, I was amazed at the variety of hats people were wearing, so I’m sharing some pictures I took after viewing the pictures from Travel with Intent blog https://travelwithintent.com/2020/06/10/how-many-hats/.
On our visit to the Great Wall of China, it happened to be a day when newly weds from the various villages came to exchange vows dressed in the native costumes of their particular culture, which made for a festive display of hats and finery.
I saw these two children in their mothers’ arms with colorful headdresses.
One can not miss the religious ones.
My favorite was this youngster performing in special celebration festivities with this ill-fitting hat. Isn’t he darling?
Very colourful!
