Do you use the porcelain or is it too precious?

Actually, I use it. It is the only dinner ware I have. I purchased it at a home sale here in San Miguel before I even moved into my house. I saw it and loved it. The man who owned it died and left his house and all his belongings to the local library and the animal shelter so they had a huge sale. I was delighted to get the dishes becakuse they are each hand painted. Admittedly I’m careful with them, but I use them daily. Most of the pieces I don’t use, since I don’t cook a lot.

That’s good. I always think it a shame if fine china and porcelain is not used.
