Today I’m celebrating 79 years on this earthly ground, Decades filled with highs, lows, and nondescripts, Some remembered, most forgotten. Cakes, parties, aloneness, Baloney, crackers, kool-aid and beer All added to my becoming. I toast the past, the lessons learned But I’ll cut classes for the next 79.
