A fun and lively parade by parishioners of local Catholic Churches kicked off a goodbye celebration for a local and popular San Miguel de Allende priest who was assigned to a church in the state’s capital. Here are a few pictures of some of the partiers, but the priest wasn’t in sight. Many of the costumes are handmade, and usually each church will have a theme, so you get a different feel as each church group goes by, dancing, marching, playing, shouting, and sweating!
I suspect your first picture was the priest, and that’s why he’s moving on!
