Textures is the prompt for today’s Lens Artists Photo Challenge and my picture is one I took at this year’s Day of the Dead celebration in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. This is a picture of an altar that has all kinds of textures: wood, metal, glass, food, bones, rocks, fruit, flowers, wire, straw, water, pictures, to name just a few. The altars are made in order to remember those loved ones who have died, but their lives are remembered with love.See more wonderful pictures of textures at https://photobyjohnbo.wordpress.com/2022/11/24/lens-artists-photo-challenge-226-textures/.
This picture is also from the Day of the Dead festivities and the textures I see include the stone wall, the cardboard skeleton, the flowers, and iron fence, and the glass windows.
And then I found in my garden another variety of textures:
Beautiful selection of textures and colours Margo.

Margo, I really like how your post ties all of the textures into the Day of the Dead remembrance.
