Textures in Faces

I love the textures in these sculptures. My hand involuntarily reaches to caress the faces, smooth the lines, and stroke the locks of hair.  .                       See more Tuesdays of Texture Photo Challenge pictures at https://narami.wordpress.com/2018/04/03/tuesdays-of-texture-week-14-of-2018/#like-6520

Textures of Yarn

This is my contribution to Narami’s Tuesday’s of Texture Week 4 photo challenge. The textures of yarn fascinate me as they inter-twine to blend colors, shapes and, of course, textures. Mixed Textures This Tuesday

My Tuesdays of Texture Photo Challenge contribution for this week is a shot I took this week of flower petals along a stone driveway. The mixture of stone and flowers seemed a good way to show different textures. Enjoy more Texture photos at https://narami.wordpress.com/2017/12/19/tuesdays-of-texture-a-week-of-december-2017/.

Textures of An Iris

This close up of an Iris shows the various textures found in nature, so I’m submitting it for Tuesdays of Texture weekly challenge. The stems, the blossoms, the orange ‘fuzz’, the veins in the bloom…beg for you to touch it. Centuries of Textures

Steps of struggle, love, weariness, anticipation, acceptance, determination, endurance, hope, and joy have smoothed the cobbled streets and sidewalks of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.                https://narami.wordpress.com/2016/09/13/tuesdays-of-texture-week-38-of-2016/

Tuesdays of Texture–Surviving

I drove past this tree yesterday and for the first time I ‘saw’ it. Been on that corner longer than I have been alive, but I never looked at…until yesterday. This gnarly tree trunk is a testament to a long life, and the beauty of age.     https://narami.wordpress.com/2016/08/30/tuesdays-of-texture-week-36-of-2016/ https://haddonmusings.com/2016/08/31/senior-salon37/

Tuesdays of Texture

Tuesdays of Texture is a blog featuring photos of various textures, and this picture of new-born birdlets in their mud nest shows lots of textures. The straw, leaves, mud, feathery bird downy, and white beaks ready for nourishment provide an interesting combination of textures. Check our other creative texture photographs in the blog below. https://narami.wordpress.com/2016/08/09/tuesdays-of-texture-week-33-of-2016-3/
